"SSG ELECT OFFICERS MEET WITH THE SCHOOL PRESIDENT" by Eric Paulin

MUNTINLUPA CITY - The newly elected officers of the Supreme Student Government holds a courtesy call and an oath taking ceremony with the President and CEO of Lyceum of Alabang, Dr. Danilo Ayap.

In his office today, Dr. Ayap officially welcomes and graces the new officers that will lead the entire Senior High School student body. This year's set of officers is composed of Caloy Carvajal as the SSG President, John Kenneth Grantusa as the Vice President, Johanna Mi-ot as the Secretary, Jazyl Petallo as the Treasurer, Jehannah Temprosa as the Auditor, Rachel Alkuino and Trisha Talisoc as the Public Information Officers for Grades 11 and 12 respectively, and Shiela Kryan Acance as the COMSELEC Chairperson. Also present during the event are Mr. Cholo Martinez, the SSG Adviser, Ms. Miguela Arcega, the OSA Directress, and Ms. Charito Cano, the Directress for Basic Education.

The courtesy call starts with the self introduction of each student officer and proceeds with the discussion of their plans and proposals for the school year, especially in the light of distance learning. Dr. Ayap particularly highlights their proposal to aid the students who are in need of financial assistance to support their online classes.

The school president also emphasizes that distance learning will most likely carry on for the next semester, unless each and every student will be given a vaccine against the ongoing pandemic.

The brief but meaningful event concludes with the reading of oath and the commencement of SSG's commitment to serve its student body.
