Theme: Realizing you cherish someone and that you accept being wholly in love with them.

Karma's schedule for the day was unusually empty. You would’ve assumed that's great news, right? But for him, it only meant boredom; he seldom knew what to do when his usual busy schedule wasn't there to 'guide' him. Thus, he decided to take a stroll in the dorm's maze. He casted a spell on it to make it semi-sentient, allowing it to move and change the paths. He wanted to make it confusing and fun as if it were a 'quest.' He truly was that bored.

Upon finding a path that led to a pristine white gazebo, he plopped down on a single step and leaned back on his hands. He threw his head back and stared at the clear blue sky, secretly wishing for rain to have a slightly dramatic moment in the downpour. A yawn escaped his lips, rolling his eyes. He drummed his fingers on the pristine white tile step he was sitting on as he started to hum softly.

He continued to gaze at the sky, getting lost in the shades of blue. "𝘐𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵, 𝘐'𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘥 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦~" His singing voice was softer and slightly sweeter than his usual tone. He rarely ever sang, considering he wasn't exactly great at it, and he also disliked singing due to a past music tutor. He only sang when necessary or at rare times like these. "𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦~ 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦~"

He hummed along to the tune of the song he was singing. "𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨? 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦? 𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨? 𝘔𝘺 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘴~" He closed his eyes, placing a hand over his chest, feeling the vibrations to ensure he wasn't off-key.

His thoughts wandered to his beloved, countless memories flashing before his eyes. A gentle smile graced his features before fading as he sighed deeply at the end of the last verse. He was still uncertain about many things. Insecurity and fear of the other finding someone better gnawed at him. Maybe that was a key reason why he didn't mind when the other was possessive over him. It made him feel special; it made him feel wanted and loved.

He cherished it—he cherished 𝙝𝙞𝙢.

"𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘣𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨~ 𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯~" Karma's eyelids fluttered open, his hushed auburn eyes shifting to the dark clouds that began to roll in. He slid off the step and sprawled onto the soft grass. Small droplets of rain splattered on his face as it started to rain. He reached his hand out to the sky, watching the water slide down his arm.

"𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙚... 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚~" His voice faded to almost a whisper. He started to get drenched in the rain, but he found it so refreshing, regardless of how chilly it became. "𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚~"

He draped his arm over his forehead once he finished singing. 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩..𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙨𝙤 𝙗𝙖𝙙, he supposed. At least he wasn't off-key. His mind began to drift to his beloved once more, a frequent occurrence lately. It felt foreign but not unwelcome. He ran his other hand through his soaked hair, pushing it back as he reveled in the rain.

In a rather dramatic fashion. Oh well.
