"Midnight Sun"

You were the light in my darkest night,

You made me happy with all your might.

When it was about to hit us, you always chose to fight,

But I was sorry because I knew you tried.

Being with me wasn't that easy,

such a dreamy guy—

Who saw me as his lily.

Never failed to make me feel pretty;

Even in our darkest midnights,

You never failed to make yourself my sun.

My sun who gave me light.

My sun who gave me hope.

My sun who kept me warm.

On the coldest night, we fought.

Now, a new chapter unfolds;

A new conflict has been told.

But right here I wouldn't be with you,

For now, I'm saying goodbye—

To my sun, who never made me cry.
