October 27, 2022, when the men's volleyball championship game between Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) and Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) was held at the Lyceum of Alabang.
In four sets, resulted in 26-24, 26-24, 14-25, and 25-23 scores, HUMSS strand managed to conquer the game and secure their championship title.
"Nilaban lang po namin and hindi namin inisip yung lakas o bigat ng makakalaban namin," Cedrick E. Villacruzada, the captain of the HUMSS Men's Volleyball Team, said in an interview.
Their first six and libero, Villacruzada, Amlon, Cadiena, Tolentino, Julian, Ramos, and Rivera, led the flight of their team to success.
Villacruzada added, "Binuo po namin yung connection sa isa't-isa and hindi po nawala yung tiwala sa mga players o teammates." Their hard work and teamwork resulted in victory.
