The team ECHO climbed the lower bracket to sweep the defending champion
Blacklist International for the M4 world championship title with a score of 4-0
in the best of 7 grand finals on Sunday, January 15.
The Orcas claimed their sweet revenge after losing to the same team in
the upper bracket of Season 10 MPL, considering the Blacklist International as
their "rival" when it comes to the grand finals.
The team ECHO consisted of Karltzy, Yawi, Sanford, Sanji, and BennyQT.
Their winning strategy heated up the stage as they revealed their line
up of heroes, consisting of Karltzy as Fredrrin, BennyQT as Lunox, Sanford as
Gloo, Sanji as Xavier, and Yawi as Hilda.
Benedict "BennyQT" Gonzales was hailed as the M4 World
Championship Finals MVP, he was referred to as the "best gold laner in the
world." All of the members were considered the best MLBB player in the
world after they dominated the M4.
"Walang I sa team" Karltzy, also known as
"Karltusok," said in an interview after being the leader of the
orcas.
The ECHO team leader, who was once labelled as "killing
machine" Karltzy, was considered a "child prodigy" after winning
the M-World championship title for the second time, making him the first one to
hold two titles. He was known for his tank junglers that conquered the M-World
once again.
After winning the M-World championship title, the Orcas gained power to
choose what M4 skin will be created. They picked the hero Chou, who is a
fighter and commonly used in top lane. Yawi explained to the press that the
chou was for everyone, and the hero was flexible when it came to picking roles.
