The Infinite Monkey Theorem states:

That when some monkeys type at random keys,

After eons, all of Shakespeare, they'll recreate...

Perhaps they could also rewrite my lost copies?

Copies of the poems I wrote about her,

Copies of those silly stories of hope...

As much as I want to go to a corner and mope,

I must pull myself together, I must endure.

I don't have eons to spend mindlessly...

So much to do, so little time.

So little time to create, what I think, is poetry—

So little time to think of meaningful rhymes.

It is my fault; mine alone.

All the rhymes I prepared ahead of time...

Oh! If only I had known—

Maybe then I would've passed them off as mine.
