Theme: The spirit of a friend in the afterlife.
Every moment I gaze
At the starry night sky,
Just the feel of the cold wind
Is all I need.
Closed eyes are prominent;
Slowly—
As I take in the serenity,
A grin will arise.
A few moments will be taken.
I felt as though
I was being held
While I sought the sound of you speaking.
The body will begin to hurt
Because of the chilly atmosphere.
I take a look around
In the desire to locate a person to grasp it.
Until emotions begin to pour out,
I assume and hope
That somebody will catch
Every piece of my broken heart.
Your arms around me
In a warm embrace
Would have been lovely
And would have made my feelings lighter.
Hopefully,
You can at least ease
The misery I live
With daily.
When I glance up into the sky,
I can feel the serenity once more.
Until my eyes closed,
I let my soul discover you.
Then the joy returned to my face,
Feeling your greatness
And seizing the soul of someone
Who's connected with me.
Despite the fact
That you're in the beyond,
I can still sense you
And your lovely hug.
We shall continue
To walk together
And connect arms once more,
My companion.
