Theme: Romance

Saying yes is an eternity of promises;
To choose and devote
For someone like you,
To have and to hold

Love has no age
Nor does it have its limits.
Being sixteen with a dream,
I tried to find love with you in it

Underneath candlelight,
Fragrance fresh like dew,
He danced with me;
Oh, what joy sprung out of the blue!

Indescribable words
Not even a poem can do;
How much memories
We had, us being me and you.

Our teenage romance only lasted
for the Summer of ‘22,
Did time suddenly skip?
We’re almost done being kids.

Through dark roads where I’m left alone,
You held my hand and walked with me to open doors,
Being with me you see my mini-victories;
Your presence is tangible even if I can’t see.

Time can never heal what’s broken inside;
A plate shattered is what remains untouched.
No one could ever replace—
My first love...
