Theme: Giving back to your community

The way you shelter me—

Provide me comfort and ensure my glee,

From the first crack until this recent track

I thought to myself—

Oh dear, I must give back.

As a chick: still flightless and weak

At present, I can offer— only my beak.

Each foulness, I will leak; and

For the oppressed, I will speak.

In joining the flock

Of my dearest block

Gladly, I will give— my little hock.

Towards an advanced and brighter side,

Together, we will stride!
