Subject: Admiration
Your voice feels like a warm hug,
I noticed myself seeking the tone of your laugh.
You never failed to make my knees weak,
as I can't find the courage to stand on both feet.
Your eyes sparkle brighter than the stars,
I can't help but wonder from afar.
You never failed to make my heart beat,
which made it impossible to stay still in my seat.
You inspire me to write a poem about love,
yet it seems that words are not enough,
for me to completely express how I feel,
and for you to be persuaded that it's all real.
Your smile is what I dream about at night,
and I panic every time that you're out of sight.
You fill an empty void inside of me,
and I don't think I can set you free.
It's the little things that make me fall for you,
like how you made my sky blue.
And how I secretly wait for our eyes to meet,
because it's the only thing that makes my day complete.
I always looked forward to the next day,
even though it'll make me feel astray,
I'm still hoping that you'll come up to me to say,
that you also see me in the same way.
