Theme: The moon served as a backdrop for the feelings of despair, reflection, and the desire for a more idealised existence.

In the majestic hour of midnight,
When tranquil skies show up outright,
The spot for mesmerising beauty has been found,
A heavenly pearl stands out.

Darkness' muse quietly glows,
When the hour seemed faded and shallow.
Its soothing light gives my life a flow,
pointing out the path I should follow.

The moon meant hope in the dark.
A pathway for souls who lose their spark.
But why does the moonlight lead me to my lowest?
Allowing me to see how damaged I was.

When realisation hit, I heard a loud scream.
Appears to portend hopelessness in dreams,
So together with the moon and its light,
I'll cry with all I might.

Things don't go right,
And thoughts no longer bring delight.
Its light mirrored how I am empty,
and now I'm out of words with reality.

Feeling the cold breeze late at night,
Weeping in silence with the moonlight,
Wishing a life more like a fantasy,
Where my soul doesn't feel uneasy.
