With a comparable instrumental to the angst of the 90s alternative rock scene, SUYEN unveils an energized and prevailing turn to the genre, pushing the rhythm of grunge into an unfamiliar territory. SUYEN is known for being an intriguing grunge pop solo artist who has been influenced by the original and unwieldy sounds of widely known bands.
After a long time and countless samples within the country, SUYEN and the rest of the band have been playing unreleased tracks all over the Metro.
The opportunity has come for her to be able to release a recording of what has been her most applauded track, “Sonic Tonic” which was released on August 25, 2023, under the grunge genre.
As the melody traverses through every wall of distortion and disintegrates every frequency, what remains in the writing is mankind trying to scream in anguish. While "Sonic Tonic" is a smoldering wave of intensity and punk devotion, everything else merely balances out.
Her debut single has been a long time in the making, but not to the point where it has outstayed its place in the spotlight. “Sonic Tonic” sounds just like the sensation of the listener being thrilled. This is the type of rock genre that everyone would love to hear.
