On this 5th of October, we are once again celebrating the well-known day of the month that is solely dedicated to our loving and hardworking teachers, the National Teacher's Day! With all the efforts and hard work that our teachers give when it comes to sharing knowledge and wisdom, they deserve to be recognized and get tribute.
With the Proclamation 242 series of 2011, our country celebrates the National Teachers’ Month from Sept. 5 up until Oct. 5 [1]. This proclamation was intended to recognize, honor, and give tribute to the contribution of our teachers in our society. It aims to raise consciousness about the importance of our educators and their role in shaping the future generation. National Teachers’ Month will always serves as a reminder to all of us to show our gratitude to our teachers for their endlessly efforts to educate and inspire us.
Teachers acts as our second parents. Aside from our real parents, we have our teachers who shapes our knowledge and wisdom, and gives us many life lessons. Teachers are one of the most important members of our society because they are responsible for educating the next generation and preparing the students for the challenges ahead of their future. The teachers do not only teach academic subjects but also the important values in life such as honesty, respect, and hard work in life.
There are many ways students celebrates Teacher's Day with their teachers. Some of the students do celebrates this by – surprising, giving letters, and greet their teachers in this special day. There is also sometimes an event in some school wherein it would showcase the talents of teachers such as an intermission number. Students may also tell to their teachers how thankful they are for giving them a lesson and knowledge in this school year.
In this day of teachers, we must never forget the essence of this special day. It's not just a typical day dedicated to our loving teachers but a day to give our gratitudes and a heartfelt salute to our teachers with their undying dedication to share the knowledge and wisdom that they posses. Let us all wholeheartedly greet our teachers a happy teacher's day!
