The strand of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) claimed another gold after Ma. Luisa Gabrielle Cale's success in achieving the top spot for the Painting Contest, announced on November 8 at the Danilo V. Ayap (DVA) Gymnasium, during the Awarding Ceremony after the foundation week of Lyceum of Alabang.
During an interview with The Spiracle, she said, "Our concept po was 'Lyceum paves the road for greatness'." She also mentioned that it was an extensive process of trial and error prior to competing when asked how she prepared for the contest.
After receiving the winning certificate, Ms. Cale then added, "I feel excited and very thankful po sa mga coaches."
Standing close, the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand, represented by Rio Traje, together with Yanah Heliza Yava of Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand, came next in line with a tie to secure the Silver Medal, while Nathali Faith Supleo from the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) strand caught up to claim the Bronze Medal.
In line with the theme "Building a Legacy of Learning: Celebrating 20 Years of Education”, the young painters turned into reality their bright ideas through an array of colors painted, showcasing the beauty and legacy of Lyceum of Alabang in a never-before-seen way.
General Academic Strand and Industrial Art (GAS-IA)’s Ellaine Jade Pajudpod and Home Economics (HE)’s Allesandria Erich Alaso also competed at the said contest, which was held on October 25 at Lyceum of Alabang’s High School Library Extension.
