Theme: The tragic nature of being a poet
Only a poet can cry with no time to grieve,
Just to ensure that paper was to ever meet with ink.
Tanking blows whatever life throws at us,
Just for another word to write in the canvas.
Driven by tragedy, my work, mostly of melancholy,
Seeking for the greatest of stories,
But at the cost of my very own sanity.
So, for once more, strike me, tragedy!
Give me with your scorching cruelty.
Let me down, leave me hurt,
I just need one, more, word.
