Subject: Failure
In the middle of the night, he stands alone.
A heart once brave, now overthrown.
The second time, he thought it’s sweet,
but the failure whispers ''You're tasting defeat''.
Was it ever true?
Did he chase a dream that never grew?
What once felt right, now feels like chains,
a reflection of joy, a garden of pains.
Is the second time around really sweet?
When the heart recalls the bitter defeat?
The weight of dreams he thought he'd own,
a heart once full, now carved from stone.
