Theme: Self compassion and self love
Dear, dear me, a looking-glass reveals,
Your face deeply tattered with what it feels,
As the sun sets, your blazing tear,
Thinking its way back on a burgeoning fear.
Dear, dear me, the timer's ticking slow,
An another day for another grief to woe,
This broken teacup contains remains,
Of whispered means and secretive pains.
Dear, dear me, don't torture yourself down,
For all the lapses made and dreams unbound,
You stumble on with weary feet,
Seeking sympathy, bittersweet.
Dear, dear me, pardon your flaws,
Cherish your allure and shatter the laws,
Of self-deprecations, honed and cold,
Of lessons gained with trails untaught.
Dear, dear me, your heart's well,
Of deep kindliness, an enchanting spell,
Amidst shadows and mistakes remain,
Your worth outshines all damages and pain.
Dear, dear me, be gentle now,
On top of scars that stain your brow,
With gentle hands and loving grace,
Please take comfort in this hallowed place.
Dear, dear me, self love's an embrace,
Mend the fragments and leave no trace,
Take a deep breath and allow the past unwind,
Nourish the love you search to find.
