Brothers Carlos "Caloy" Yulo and Eldrew Yulo seize gold and bronze medals at the floor exercise finals of the 13th Senior Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships in Zunyi, China on Saturday, June 20.
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo scored 14.700 points to claim the gold medal, while his younger brother, Eldrew, earned bronze with a score of 14.300.
Meanwhile, Eldrew finished just 0.300 point behind Japan’s Tsukiyama Shoma, who secured the silver medal with 14.600 points.
The Yulo brothers advanced to the final after Carlos topped the qualification round with 14.433 points, while Eldrew posted 13.600 points to claim the eighth and final qualifying spot.
Both Carlos and Eldrew remain in contention for additional medals after qualifying for the horizontal bar final.
Caloy will also compete in the parallel bars final as he aims to add another medal to his campaign.
