MUNTINLUPA CITY - Lensational Hong Kong, an International Organization on photography, in partnership with LIKHA Collective PH, brings this year's workshop on photography dubbed as "Explore the Beauty and Progress of Muntinlupa". Through the Cultural and Tourism  Development Office, the said project also coincides with the celebration of tourism month.

Selected students from different schools in Muntinlupa, both from public and private including Lyceum of Alabang, attend the two-day workshop, which is held at the Plaza Central in Poblacion on September 22-23, 2018. Different experts from Lensational give talks on the basics of photography, the proper composition of taking pictures, and some tips on street photography.

Likewise, the participants are also taught how to  make pinhole cameras; a do-it-yourself camera using house materials and a couple of films. The event organizers provide the materials used during the workshop.

On the second day, the participants meet at Bayanan Baywalk for a photowalk, which aims to shoot photos of the beautiful sunrise. Using their self-made pinhole cameras, the students are tasked to take photos of the scenery, following the themes of Muntinlupa's beauty and progress. The photowalk commences with the participants being divided into several groups. Each group go to different locations around the city to continue taking pictures and capture different historical sites in Muntinlupa.

The different locations include the jamboree lake, the director's quarters,  NBP administrative building, Japanese cemetery, and a number of buildings in Filinvest.

The two-day seminar and workshop concluded with the submission of all photo entries, which will be developed and evaluated in Hong Kong. Five best photos from all the entries will be selected as winners.
