October 12, 2020- The playoff's finals, Los Angeles Lakers claimed their 17th championship in the league.
This year's NBA finals, with the score of 106-93, Los Angeles Lakers defeated Miami Heat in game 6 on a Sunday night. Having LeBron James, the number 1 on the NBA's career list, the play turned into an obstacle course, but certainly, it was not that serene to them as well. The Miami Heat's shooting guard, Jimmy Butler, gave out a strong performance to defend and force out a sixth round with Lakers.
In the series, LeBron James achieved his fourth title with an average of 29.8 points, 11.8 rebounds and 8.5 assists, making him the second in NBA history to win four MVP awards next to the legend, Michael Jordan with six.
The success of the team created a clamorous cheering and dancing at the AdventHealth Arena, a restricted environment where players stayed in for months to make the event happen. It is to prevent the coronavirus pandemic in affecting the annual playoffs.
