Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said earlier today that President Duterte is placing the whole Region IV-A (except Quezon Province) and NCR under General Community Quarantine. This restriction is now effective today, According to GMA News.
Mass gatherings, including religious gatherings are banned; weddings, baptism, and funeral are limited to only 10 person in areas under GCQ. Furthermore, the said areas are placed under a bubble, meaning, travels across borders are not allowed.
Cities under General Community Quarantine are allowed for essential travels only.
