In a rare collaboration between rival networks, ABS-CBN's Star Cinema films set to air on GMA-7 starting in April.
On Tuesday, April 5, a virtual momentous ceremonial signing is held between GMA executives Gilberto Duavit Jr, Philip Yalung, Annette Gozon Valdes, and Joey Abacan present, as well as ABS-CBN executives Carlo Katigbak, Mark Lopez, Cory Vidanes, and Ricardo Tan Jr.
GMA Network and ABS-CBN, two of the country's most extensive broadcasting and film industry giants, have formally sealed the deal to air Star Cinema films on GMA's broadcast channels.
GMA called the agreement "historic," stating that it is breaking "new ground for Philippine entertainment."
Among the notable films set to air on GMA-7 Network are "Alone/Together," "How to Be Yours," "Till My Heartaches End," "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank," "Ang Cute ng Ina Mo!," "It Takes a Man and a Woman," "Just The Way You Are," "Fantastica," "Can We Still Be Friends?," "Finally Found Someone," "No Other Woman," "Won't Last A Day Without You," "Must Be…Love," "The Panti Sisters," "Isa Pa With Feelings," "James & Pat & Dave," "Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay," "Feng Shui," "Suddenly It's Magic," and "I Love You, Hater."
