Synopsis: A short-lived yesterday that I would never trade for anything.
In a pitch-black room,
I pirouetted with the rhythm of thy voice.
With an unforeseen head rush,
I witnessed Pyxis right before my eyes.
Was that a sudden disturbance in my retina?
I hoped not.
Passenger seats made me beam in reminiscence,
Along with the crumbs of Pumpernickel that left a trace on thy sleeve.
It was a fleeting glimpse in seventh heaven—
That would live in my head perpetually.
The lucid evocation of bliss with thy soul—
Was something that I would bring into every universe.
The ether under the blankets,
With thine eyes that were aglow with city lights;
Would always be my favorite escape.
