International ice cream chain Baskin-Robbins, after operating in the Philippines for over 8 years, announced it would permanently close its doors on December 31, 2022.

As a “gesture of thanks” to its customers through the years of operation in the country, Baskin-Robbins offered promotions from November 26 until its closure on December 31, 2022.

“As a gesture of our thanks for your valued patronage over the years, we are pleased to offer a range of promos from November 26 - December 31, 2022,” the ice cream chain posted on Facebook, Saturday, November 26, 2022.

The ice cream chain offered a free scoop with any junior or value scoop purchase, buy 1 take 1 on all pints, quarts, and half gallons, and an 86-scoop tub for Php3500.

“Once again, thank you very much for everything. It's been an honor to be of service to all of you,” the post read.

The post did not specify the reason for the ice cream chain's closure.

Baskin-Robbins re-entered the country over 8 years ago, and made its exit once again.
