𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦: “PRC announces passers of licensure examination for teachers” by Ace Balangitan

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) released the list of passers for October 2022 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), Friday, December 16, 2022.

Among the 91,468 examinees for the elementary level, 49,783 elementary teachers passed the exam, making the passing rate 54.43 percent. Meanwhile, 71,080 secondary teachers out of 139,534 examinees (50.94%) passed the examination, totaling 120,863 passers for October 2022 LEPT.

“It is further announced that of the 49,783 elementary passers, 29,183 are first timers and 20,600 are repeaters,” PRC stressed in a Facebook post. “For the secondary teachers, 50,549 passers are first timers and 20,531 are repeaters.”

Lyceum of Alabang teachers who passed the examination are the following:
• Ms. Eloisa Casas
• Ms. Ronna Zapanta
• Ms. Virginia Santos
• Mr. Jimson Ortiguero
• Mr. Lyn Mar Danugo

“The dates and venues for the oathtaking ceremonies of the new successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later,” the Commission said.

The results for the said examination were released after fifty-six working days, with the examination given 2 months ago, on October 2, 2022, in Thailand and in 34 testing centers in the Philippines.
