Theme: Unrequited Love
The day I met you,
Was the day I ought to believe love was true.
You became fond of giving me lies—
Yet I still found you charming in my eyes.
Just the gazing at your face would make me melt,
Butterflies in my stomach—I felt.
Your laugh and smile—
Was something I cherished for a long while.
Though I would never experience being your lover,
I was thankful because a new feeling within me was discovered.
I loved admiring you from afar,
Like how I admired those ravishing stars.
I was contented with getting glances from you,
Because I knew I was someone you weren't into.
Having conversations with you was more than enough,
Because it made my heart puff.
I'd continue to hope,
For you to choose me in this big globe.
I would love you to the moon and back,
Until I accept that you left my heart a huge crack.
