A place where everyone goes for fun,

But each player is on the run.

Winning and satisfaction are the ones that matter;

A single loss is not a threat for us to falter.

Men who brag to claim everything

Get humbled as their luck is just fleeting.

The fool is dithering in painting his cards;

Ready or not, he has to let down his guards.

Placing the hard-earned bet on uncertainty,

For the luck at first bet is in his custody.

Matching the odds, the universe holds a gamble.

A gratifying emotion on prior set is just a preamble.

The savvy banker is just snickering at him;

Considering his futile hope, which forges his dim.

Strikes of bad luck are starting to target his ego—

Shredding his confidence, he has no choice but to go.

He is losing his capital. Can he still recoup?

But unfortunate occurrences are on a loop.

He is valiant to render even his soul as a wager.

Trusting a divine will intervene to be the game-changer.

If he goes penniless, will his entire existence be worthless?
