Theme: Valediction
The reality pierces my heart—
I do not want to let you go.
Why would your comfort vanish?
Now, who would make this cold soul thaw?
We once dreamed of meeting in the middle;
both waving our hands and having stories to tell.
Sad to say, you have to wait for me on the other end.
For now, I have to bid you farewell.
Resentment seethes into my complex—
I can't afford to reminisce without rue.
I neglect to look back without you!
I want to feign that you're not yet through.
In retrospection, I console my grief.
Your euphoric image, which I find pensive,
and your thoughts that I ponder:
The memories I wish I could forever retrieve.
As much as I wanted to keep you here
until the sky fell down on me,
the time had already reached us.
I cannot bewitch the clock that fled.
I now have to let you go.
