𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦: "43.47% takers pass 2022 bar exam” by Abigail Job F. Alla

MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court (SC) released the list of 2022 Bar examination passers on friday, April 14. Out of 9,183 examinees in November last year, there were 3,992 law graduates who passed the bar exams.


Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa said that the passing rate was 43.47%. Caguioa was the one who chaired the recent examination.


Names of top 30 Bar passers were released instead of the traditional top 10. Law graduates from the University of the Philippines (UP) filled in the top 5 and 13 of the top 30 garnering the highest grades, said Caguioa.


Czar Matthew Gerard Torres Dayday, from the University of the Philippines, obtained the highest rank with 88.8083% average. 


New lawyer’s oath-taking and roll signing has been scheduled on May 2, 2023. Meanwhile, there will only be three exam dates this year, on September 17, 20, and 24 for the 2023 Bar Examinations.
