MANILA, Philippines — Atty. Anthony Mark Dulawan Emocling created history as the first visually challenged exam taker to pass the board exam taken last November 2022.
Atty. Emocling graduated Cum Laude in his college degree, Political Science, last 2013 and took his Juris Doctor in 2017, both in University of Baguio.
“A lot of PWDs po kasi are being discriminated and they don't have a voice. There are crimes committed against PWDs pero tinitiis nalang nila. I want to be an advocate to help people", Atty. Emocling stated.
Narvacan, Ilocos Sur Mayor and 1967 Bar Topnotcher Mayor Pablito V. Sanidad Sr., guided and motivated Emocling in this Bar Examination.
"Congratulations Anthony Mark Dulawan Emocling!! My blind student at the University of Baguio, School of Law (UBSOL) who against all the odds and despite being blind is now a Lawyer!”, Mayor Sanidad shared in a facebook post.
