The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) of Lyceum of Alabang held a Career Placement Seminar, which was attended by the graduating students from Kindergarten and Grade 6 and the completers from Grade 10. The said seminar was conducted at DVA Gymnasium in the Lyceum of Alabang with the help of the faculty of the senior high school and the heads of each strand on campus.
Ms. Liziel Agraba, an administrative assistant from the Office of Student Affairs, hosts the seminar, following the opening remarks of Mrs. Miguela Arcega, the directress of OSA. Mrs. Charito F. Cano focuses on the graduating elementary students and completing students of grade 10 as she discusses the Educational Service Contracting Voucher Program that the students can use as they take their junior and senior high school courses at Lyceum of Alabang.
Mr. Michael Arcega from the admissions office spoke about the paths that the Grade 10 students can take after junior high school. The heads of each strand also share their experience in their community in order to give the Grade 10 students a short background on their strand.
Lastly, the Senior High School Department Vice Principal, Mrs. Cheryl Gonzales, talks about the career exploration objectives. The seminar aimed to help the students choose what career they want in the future, give them a background on each strand of senior high school, and offer what financial assistance they can take in order to lessen their expenses in the following years.
The seminar wrapped by taking pictures of each section on stage with their costume about the jobs they want in the future.
