𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦: "HUMSS bags 7 'Best Presentor' Awards at National Research Congress" by Jasmine Fiona Sanchez

Selected students from the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand of Lyceum of Alabang presented their research papers in a National Research Congress, and seized seven ‘Best Presentor’ awards at the City College of Tagaytay last June 16. 


Among the seven groups that participated, four groups were awarded for their outstanding papers and presentations in the conference. The students who received the "Best Presentor" award were the following:


1. Ley Anne Jenna V. Caringal and Ayesha Mae G. Monreal | The Implementation of Short Educational Videos about Philippine National Symbols to Grade 3 students of Muntinlupa Elementary School S.Y. 2022-2023 


2. Dmi3 P. Umali, Ashley Jhen R. Dellomas, and Shanea Victoria Morales | From Nets to Narratives: Understanding the Lived Experiences of the Fisherfolks in Barangay De La Paz Biñan


3. Jasmine Fiona J. Sanchez | "I was Looking for God, I Found Myself": Factors Contributing to Atheism, Agnosticism, and Non-Belief Year 2022-2023


Mr. Neil Celestino Ochoa, along with Ms. Jamaica R. Vilamil and Mr. Leonardo D. Alfaro, also won the "Best Presentor" award for their research entitled 'Recalibrating Approach: Utilizing Gamified Teaching technique in Engaging Students in Digital Learning'.


Likewise, these are the students that also participated in the research congress:


1. Aesop A. Panghulan and Lady Elizalyn Delos Reyes | Utilizing the Ten-plus-Two Learning Method in Teaching Literary Criticism to Grade 10 students of Tunasan National High School A.Y 2022-2023 


2. Hyancy Garonita, Alysa Berroya, and Raemon Andre Arago | Dominus Vobiscum: A Qualitative Analysis on the Lived Experiences of Devout Followers of Santo Sepulcro and its Faith Healing Ability in Landayan, San Pedro, Laguna


3. Roel Angelo C. Argana and Mark Jazzey Reyes | Hall of Learning: The Efficiency of Gallery Walk Technique in Teaching Prepositions to the Grade 4 Students of Bayanan Elementary School Unit 1 School Year 2022-2023 


The research conference was organized by the Society of Transformative Educators, with the theme"Steering the Passion and Purpose in Teacher Education in the Midst of the Pandemic". Well-renowned educators such as Dr. Carl E. Balita, Dr. Raymund Arcega, and Dr. Bert Jazmin Tuga served as the keynote speakers of the event.
