In the hands of innovation and growth, artificial intelligence arises and takes the lead in technological advancement. It is also commonly known as AI, which performs tasks normally associated with intelligent beings—specifically, Us, humans. With its continued growth, it is frequently questioned whether it will truly help people progress or if it will only lead us to a life of indolence.
Artificial intelligence is an ever growing technology made through the power of innovation. It is a result of what we humans are capable of building through our sheer will and knowledge.
Over the years, AI has been considered to be one of the greatest technologies ever made. According to a technology reporter– Gerken (2023), the co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, stated that the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is the most significant technological advance in decades.
Yet, despite its spurt, people are wondering whether it will affect us negatively in the long run. This fear is acceptable, as artificial intelligence is a newly made technology that can do many things. From finance, robotics, to even healthcare, and machine learning!
AI has also paved its way in the industry of producing goods. Normally, workers and manpower are what we usually seen in the factory. However, as things change, human are slowly exchanged into robots. Resulting in job losses and less opportunity for workers.
It can be seen that it results in a negative impact between our countrymen. However, we shouldn't always forget that with the help of AI through robotics, accidents at the workplace would be lessened and the lives of the workers wouldn't always be at stake. Moreover, there are also machines that requirethe human help, therefore, it wouldn't always just lead to job loss.
Regardless of how, we shouldn't let our fear intervene us from achieving success. AI has many uses, it is versatile. We should always remember that artificial intelligence is constructed in order for us humans to have a better and easier life. It all depends on how we use it to determine whether we will succeed or fail.
Artificial intelligence is constructed in order to be put to good use. It is in our hands whether it will become a waste or a handy tool for our society. Humans– we always have the choice on picking what paths we should take. The various technological advances aren't really the problem– it is within us and our decisions.
We aren't perfect. We make decisions that lead to mistakes and failures. Hence, we should always remember that artificial intelligence is not the problem on whether it would be an advantage or disadvantage to our society. It is 'US'. Us that should always be aware of our own limitations and boundaries. So we should know when to STOP and when to CONTINUE.
