Women are much stronger than society thinks. Many of them struggle in their lives but overcome them by believing that they can achieve more. Criticisms from others have only taught them to look on the brighter side of life.

Today, women are facing harassment. To name an instance, people repeatedly stated that clothes are the reason for sexual harassment—though this stems from bias and inaccurate reasoning. Many women have experienced insecurities and they just want to feel valid and confident. Women don't dress for everyone; they dress for themselves. The problem is it's not the way they present themselves through their clothes, it's the people who lack critical thinking.

There are many who find it difficult to understand that women can lead in their workspace. This is a large issue in the country as this doesn’t give women a chance to prove that they too are capable of standing for the possibilities and responsibilities that were given to us. Remembering how our former candidate for President, Leni Robredo, had given us hope and pledged to serve the country with her whole heart. If only we considered the equality of each gender, there wouldn't be such a huge difference in how people view another gender.

Considering that inflation in our country right now has a huge impact on all businesses, why is there still a big difference between the salaries of women and men? Both genders work hard to get paid for their hard work all day yet receive an insufficient salary.

This can be resolved if we can educate ourselves on this. To stop believing what is taught to us, and learn to speak up for what is right and wrong. We need to work on our mindset to get to a place where we can strive individually.

Women are not just women—they are the leaders of their own lives.
