The Lyceum of Alabang (LOA) Men's Volleyball team rejoiced in a victory against Lakewood School of Alabang (LSA) after a thrilling match on Saturday, November 11, at the Danilo V. Ayap (DVA) Gymnasium Annex.

LOA's team is poised to advance to the next match of the annual Alliance of Private School Administrators of Muntinlupa (APSAM) sports festival.

In the first set, LOA took an early lead and prevented Lakewood from gaining an advantage. They were able to secure the set with a score of 25-19.

Although Lakewood fought back in the second set, LOA remained determined and continued to deliver impressive spikes and receives. The relentless effort led the team to win the set, 25-20, and ultimately triumph with an overall set score of 2-0.

Michael Gupo, the captain of LOA's team, provided insight into their victorious game, acknowledging the presence of their errors and highlighting the team's commitment to address them in future training sessions.

"Overwhelming, kasi lahat ng pinagpaguran namin sa training is worth it at nagamit namin sa laro, though maraming errors at ayon yung dapat pa naming trabahuhin at uumpisahan namin 'yon sa training," Gupo said in an interview with The Spiracle.

The competition will occur every Saturday until champions are determined in each sports category which will be held in the respective participating private schools.
