Subject: The Awoken Heart
Shun! Shun! Shun—the river glistened as thou, the love.
In thy dreams wherein all my moves were to surmise,
Run! Love! Pray—as thou drained the throbbing ache in me,
On nights of somber, the light—thou created,
The light—'tis the sense of my prayers.
For I thought it had been centuries—
Since the hands of thou, the love:
Had caused the light within me to long the living threat—
Open! Live! Cry—the privilege to experience it all once more.
Shall thou engrave his heart—in the glass wounded parts—
Caused by the devil—the love.
And lo, I tell and humbly admire—
In the actions of thee—thy love.
I exaggerate and gab for an eternity, for all I know.
The ears of those who hear—they ring and do not stop.
For I am wild, and my passion scares me every so often—
Oh! Thy doing—I smile; it is the love.
We hide in the trenches—unaware and clueless—
Shall I scream—I will, yet too suddenly will the winds move;
To the dire consequences of the ardor of my emotions
Though you glisten—you display like the rivers in a storm—
Run! Hide! Sob! I'll gladly act once more,
Since to you, I will—and to trust—to ache—to cry
Shall be the crime I'll do for thy love—thou! The love.
