Theme: Resignation and embracing the ache that comes in life.
And I find myself, giggling with childish fervour.
For every trickle of sweat that meets the earth,
For each blade of grass that finds itself in my wake,
Piece by piece, a gradual release of the ache.
Should reconciliation devour my beating heart,
Shallow sabulousities swallow my psyche,
A sardonic Sabbath of self-served heresy,
I shall once more find the place of my second birth.
There, I shall frolick beneath the cleaved summer sky,
Drenched in my essence, I shall dance, and dance I will,
And I shall weep, not in agony will I cry,
But in resignation to the embrace of the grass,
And I'll find myself, giggling with childish fervour.
