Subject: The beauty of growth.

I stare towards the distance

of thousands of vehicles

passing by on a highway;

there I can see the

resemblance of my life.

The different junctures

I’ve undergone have

all been as quick as

an asteroid falling from

outer space.

Each gap was filled with

trial and despair that

I will constantly bring

with me as my body

grows fragile & frail.

Most parts of it had given me

a moment where

I deeply reflected and realized

many things in myself

I could not grasp.

One thing I have retained

in my core since then

is to never really

take something

for granted.

I have sought my whole life

for silver linings in every facet

I view, just to feel

something that holds

dear to me.

But I learned to bear it in a

gradual way, for it plants

a seed in our gardens, nurturing

the gaping growth of each person

I become with every rebirth.
