pretty magnificent eyes,
one that portrays the beautiful blue skies.
mesmerizing, charming of a voice,
one that screams I'm only a second choice.
among the ocean of people,
it is your gleaming smile that will arise.
my feelings for you I can't control,
for every time I see you, I will rejoice.
every poetry I write is dedicated to you,
and I can't stop thinking of it, no matter what I do.
every song I listen becomes about you,
and I'll find myself lip syncing, as I dance on my shoe.
it's not so easy having you around,
just hearing your voice will have me on the ground.
my feelings for you sure is hard to understand,
but deep down all I want to do, is simply hold your hand.
