Theme: Nostalgia isn't as pretty as we claim it to be.
Your memory still lingers around
I still look back to the familiar shadow and sound
How could I ever forget your contagious smile
Nostalgic of the times when I still could call you mine
My firsts— and sworn lasts,
who knew time runs this fast?
Now I'm sitting alone in this room,
once filled with love, now with doom.
Is that hesitation I see in your eyes?
Maybe, as I'm still yours— maybe, you're still mine.
Do you wish to go back too?
Back when I can say, "I miss you, I'll see you soon."
Or maybe it's just my wishful thinking,
that I'll be with you in every sleep and walking.
Will I forever be stuck in reminiscing?
Will I forever be waiting and longing?
If you must move on, promise me one thing.
Here I am, begging on my knees.
Don't let me get lost in your memories,
For in my heart, I'll vacate your place.
For our old memories, hold it tight.
And maybe one day, when the time is right—
we'll meet again, no longer afraid
and we'll be together, for old times sake.
