Subject: Letter to a Deceased Loved One

Teal scatters in a hospital bed—Oh! An ocean in such a stuffy den
Oceans brimming sent tears from above!—above was thee—
The darling to heed—and mend so foolishly—
And to love! Devote to thou eternally!
When words as sharp cut through my throat,
Shards of a lie—and an oath to cope—
When apologies could mean too vaguely to thee—
I will offer a knee, Heavenly being! Bring her back to me—

As you bid such a farewell that bawled the living of a child,
And through her, it echoes in me—your esse—
Beg! How I begged to no reapers to descend,
Since everyone's living in the presence of thou,
My darling, to wish and beg is all I do—
Offer me the doubt to forget thee, even so vividly—
For we breathed and lived so alike for too long
For I loved and vowed in you—my darling! Don't be gone!

Perhaps devoting the entirety of myself is flawed;
In the dew of the morning we shared, I breathed—
But my darling was the sip in the summer dree,
I accost the doubt of living—I befriend a woman of a being—
All I know is to atone with my spirit—Love! I shall once more
Should thou bury the sins of my attachment—
And note such sorrows of breathing in the hands of another,
Not a hint of resentment in me, but do forgive me—My Evelyn.
