K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN member Yoon Jeonghan was reported to enlist in Korean military on September 26. The statement of his enlistment was made by his group agency, PLEDIS Entertainment, through the K-pop community platform Weverse on September 12, Thursday.

According to PLEDIS Entertainment, Jeonghan wonʼt be joining any activities of the K-pop boy group in regards to his preparation for his enlistment. This includes any promotions for SEVENTEENʼs upcoming 12th mini-album and performances in 17 RIGHT HERE tour.

However, the agency added that Jeonghan plans to greet the Carats in several content initially filmed before his preparation for the enlistment.

PLEDIS Entertainment also wished for the Carats to prevent from going to Jeonghanʼs military post as they stated that there would be no ceremonies for his enlistment, before lastly asking for the fansʼ unwavering support and wishes for the idol.

Among the 13 members of SEVENTEEN, Jeonghan is officially the first member of the group to enlist in military public service following the service exemption for S.coups, SEVENTEENʼs leader, due to his knee injury.

The boy group SEVENTEEN debuted on May 2015 and made its way to mainstream with their hits such as “VERY NICE”, “HOT”, “Super”, and “MAESTRO”.
