Theme: A Love full of Lies, Loss of a once-trusted Relationship, Emotional Healing
Oh, how poor does storm echo my pain,
As I watch how you lie in August’s chain,
How can you let me cry in vain?
The faint murmur of doubt—they scream in my head,
Each promise of trust, now vanished, now dead,
Your eyes, once faithful, now shrinking in red,
Bleeding in darkness with your ghost in my head.
I weep with the storm—how shattered I am,
The fear and confusion you instilled as a stain,
Subjecting me to survive in this kind of disdain,
Praying for truth, in clarity’s gain.
As the wind unveils its darkness, will it conceal the ache?
The love that deceived me, let be thrown at a lake,
I long for the rainbow—may it light up my soul once more,
And bring forth a freedom—a peace healed from sore.
As the storm bid its farewell, let the sun shine down on me,
Lighting my path as I yearn for freedom and clarity,
Unleashing the key by your tuneless melody—
And let this poem be a song of Wounded Reverie.
