The Philippines holds its breath as Chelsea Manalo takes on the Miss Universe competition in Mexico this November 2024, hoping to bring home the fifth crown and make Filipinos proud. 

Manalo, a stunning Filipino-Black American beauty queen, made a grand entrance at her send-off ceremony, radiating confidence in a stunning green gown. The event was a celebration of her journey, with her proud parents, fellow beauty queens, and supporters cheering her on.

The queen is known for her advocacy for youth education and body positivity and shared her heartfelt message about the power of listening to others’ stories. “𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺,” she said.

Manalo expressed her confidence in being prepared for the competition, rating her readiness at a solid nine out of ten. However, she highlighted that the unwavering support of the Filipino people would be the final piece of the puzzle, pushing her to reach that perfect ten.

With her captivating presence and inspiring message, Manalo is ready to go to make a strong impression at the Miss Universe pageant. The preliminary and national costume competition will take place on November 14th, followed by the coronation night on November 16th.

All eyes are on Chelsea Manalo as she aims to bring home the fifth Miss Universe crown for the Philippines.
