Subject: Injustice in society and its effect on the oppressed.
Watched by the wind, the miscreant says:
“Fair judgment reigns”, oh! Justice prevails.
Whispering maidens, their voices frail,
Hail to the court, doth justice stay?
Bowing-headed, forlorn to the beheaded
Glistening shadows, ‘lo! they brim with sorrow.
Doth this fathom signify the morrow,
Or doth the cast of shadow remain shedded?
In the halls of Patrician, might remains,
Fulfilling needs, their will, so rare!
But to those surveilled in the dirt, not in the air,
How these plebians toil, down in the grey.
As the hands of despair hath naught to spare,
As might set sail, how dost plebians bear?
When injustice remains, they art so scared.
Esoteric crying, to the voices, remains spared.
As the rotation of the sun ended, it lapsed
Justice sleeps through the sleeping cracks.
How dreadful to live through monstrosity’s pass,
Serene, as they ne’er leave their cages unlocked.
Strolling, oh! What ragged garb they wear.
Treading alleys, scathed through the pebbles.
How dost the oppressed remain thus labeled?
Imagine—how effortlessly life flows for nobles.
Veiled class, the oppressed stayed then
And thus, did justice remain?
In cast of the shadows and longing debates,
Oh, Justice! Hast thou ever been awake?
