In a night full of surprises, Jey Uso pulled off a remarkable win as he wrecked the returning legend John Cena at the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble in a thrilling match to secure his spot at WrestleMania in Indiana on Saturday, February 1.

Coming into the matchup, the fan favorite and sixteen-time World Champion Cena has seemingly defied all the odds to draft yet another victory toward a historic 17th title reign. However, the ultimate underdog Jey had the final punch that sent Cena over the top rope.

"To overcome a legend like John Cena, to stand here as the Royal Rumble winner, it's truly incredible. I'm ready to take on whoever awaits me at WrestleMania, I'm going to make this moment count," said Jey, as his voice was filled with emotion after the win.

"This is a dream come true," he added.

The crowd went wild as Jey and Cena delivered a thrilling match, but the victory represents a major turning point for Jey, who has consistently proven himself as a force to be reckoned with in WWE.

The Royal Rumble 2025 was indeed a sight to behold, boasting many other equally thrilling moments, surprise appearances by former champions and breakout performances from younger and up-and-coming talents, yet it was the shocking win for Jey that presented the highlight of the night and built the excitement for the upcoming WrestleMania.

The question on Jey’s rival at WrestleMania is just the beginning, there is much glory to be found, but only one thing is for sure, the world will watch as Jey Uso testifies his way to WrestleMania.
