“Aking sinta, ikaw na ang tahanan at mundo." A lyric that once echoed through the hearts and minds of millions has found another meaning today. After nearly five years of silence, the impossible finally happened.
On July 16, 2025, without any warning, IV of Spades made their long-awaited return. No teasers. No any countdowns. Just a sudden spark out of the dark: a new single, “Aura,” quietly dropped online, bursting into flames of emotion among fans who almost gave up hope.
In an era where sudden music releases are very rare and heavily teased, the iconic Filipino band took everyone by surprise. Without any warning, without even a whisper and a hint, they released their brand-new single titled “Aura."
No ticking clocks. No posters about their comeback. Just them and their music.
The band’s fandom erupted across the internet in disbelief and joy. For years, they clung to the memory of IVOS’s golden days; “Mundo,” “Come Inside of My Heart,” and “Dulo ng Hangganan,” not knowing if the band would ever return.
But they did. Quietly. Beautifully.
“Aura” is a testament to growth; both artistic and emotional. It retains the band’s signature dreamy-funk vibe, but laced with deep meaning, it feels like a love letter not only to music but also to the people who stayed.
Since their hiatus announcement in 2020, each member pursued their personal projects. Though fans supported their individual journeys, the ache of missing home; IV of Spades as one was never fully healed.

After being silent for almost five years, they finally return to soothe the pain and bring back something that was lost.
But a few questions remain; Is this simply a one-time gift, or is this the start of a whole new chapter?
And maybe, that’s all we need for now; cherishing the melodies and their reconciliation. Because after five long years of silence, the tunes we once sought finally came home. And with it, so did we.
