The most beautiful night in the Philippines set its spotlight on the Smart Araneta Coliseum stage as Binibining Pilipinas holds its 61st Grand Coronation Night on Sunday evening, June 15, 2025.
The event was hosted by four remarkable queens in pageantry: Miss Grand International Philippines 2016, Nicole Cordovez, Miss Universe Philippines 2014, MJ Lastimosa, Miss Globe Philippines 2021, Maureen Montagne, and Miss International 2016, Kylie Versoza.
A total of 36 Binibining Pilipinas candidates from across the Philippines pave their way for the chance to win two global crowns and represent the Philippines in international pageants—Miss International and Miss Globe.
At the Binibining Pilipinas, several special awards were presented to candidates who excelled in various categories.
For the first batch of special awards, Binibini #30 Blessie Villablanca won Best in National Costume, while Binibini #25 Katrina Anne C. Johnson received Binibining Dunkin.
Additionally, Binibini #18 Kathleen Enid Espinido was named Binibining Pizza Hut, and Binibini #11 Alyssa Mildred VillariΓ±a received the Manila Bulletin Readers' Choice Award. Binibini #7 Annabelle Mae McDonnell won Binibining Philippine Airlines, and Binibini #36 Dalia Varde Khattab was awarded Binibining Urban Smiles and Best in Swimsuit.
Following the evening gown showcase, the second batch of special awards were announced. Binibini #3 Jercy Raine Cruz won Binibining Playtime, and Binibini #26 Cyril Reign Nulud won Binibining Friendship. Francesca Beatriz Abalajon, Binibini #12, was named Face of Binibini. Additionally, Binibini #25 Katrina Anne C. Johnson was also awarded Best in Evening Gown.
Binibining Pilipinas proudly honored and welcomed The Miss Globe 2024, Diana Moreno and Miss International 2024, Huỳnh ThỠThanh Thủy, as they take their walk on the stage, embodying elegance and celebrating international sisterhood.
And to bid farewell to the two queens who represent the Philippines in the Global stage, Binibining Pilipinas International 2024, Myrna Esguerra and The Miss Globe 2024 2nd-runner up, Jasmine Bungay, took their final walk in the Binibining Pilipinas stage.
To conclude the event, Katrina Anne C. Johnson was crowned as the Bb. Pilipinas Miss International 2025, and Annabelle Mae McDonnell was named as the Bb. Pilipinas Miss Globe 2025, together with the 1st-runner up Dalia Varde Khattab, and Kathleen Enid Espinido as the 2nd-runner up.
