Information and Communications Technology (ICT) won the Bible Quiz Bee on October 17, 2026 at the PDIC Function Hall after outperforming four competing strands across three rounds.

Opening program emcees Sir Wynn Sauler and Ma’am Jesa Suan then welcomed the participants and formally started the competition. The judges were Rev. Albert B. Calto Jr., Ms. Jesren Rose B. Ronquillo, and Ms. Leovela B. Espadilla.

The organizers discussed the general rules, including three rounds with 10 questions each, the question and pointing system, and the procedures for answering each question. Participants were given 10 seconds for the Easy Round, 15 seconds for the Average Round, and 20 seconds for the Difficult Round.

HE-HR and ICT led the Easy Round with 10 points each, followed by ASSH-HUMSS and ABM-GAS-IA with nine points. STEM recorded seven points.

ABM-GAS-IA and ICT tied at 14 points in the Average Round. ASSH-HUMSS, HE-HT, and STEM each scored 12 points.

A clarification arose during the Average Round regarding the Seventh Commandment, as its order differed depending on the classification of the commandments. The organizers eventually accepted both property and possessions and adultery as valid answers.

In the Difficult Round, ICT posted 21 points, while ASSH-HUMSS and STEM each earned 15 points. ABM-GAS-IA and HE-HT both recorded 18 and 15 points, respectively.

ICT finished first with 45 points, followed by ABM-GAS-IA with 41. ASSH-HUMSS and STEM both ended with 34 points, while HE-HT placed fifth with 27 points after deductions.

A tiebreaker was held between ASSH-HUMSS and STEM for third place, with ASSH-HUMSS securing the position. STEM consequently finished fourth.

The final standings placed ICT first, ABM-GAS-IA second, ASSH-HUMSS third, STEM fourth, and HE-HT fifth.

The event concluded with a photo opportunity for each strand, while the distribution of certificates was

scheduled for October 23.
