The seminar is divided into two parts: the first part is when three debate experts discuss what debate truly is, the different kinds of debates and what to do or how to act during a debate competition. The first speaker, Mr. Gino Semilla, a UP Debater, discusses what to say during the first statement and who will have the first statement during a debate. Since the fourth speaker is not able to make it, Mr . Semilla also teaches the students how to do a rebuttal. The second speaker, Atty. John Ruffo Cho a San Beda debater, discusses how to pick different topics for a debate with necessity and beneficiality. The last speaker discusses on what kind of evidence is needed for a debate and what to research on.

The second part is when the students have a mock debate about a story that Mr. Gino created. The mock debate is won by a student from St. Paul College of Parañaque who also gets the chance to have a debate with Mr. Gino. Also Mr. Gino mentioned that the main goal of the debate tournament is to resurrect the debate culture here in the Philippines.
